Stepping Up In Times of Crisis There are organizations that hunker down in the face of difficulty. And then there are those that

Unprecedented Times

Yes, these are certainly unprecedented times. Just like you, we fee like there is a "Before COVID-19"....and an "After COVID-19". And now, we all have had to adapt to this new normal. Yes, we are still supplying equipment, because children are still growing out of their wheelchairs, and elders are still falling in the bathroom. And families, now more than ever, need our support. But now, we mostly communicate over the phone and video chat, asking lots of questions and taking lots of photos to deliver the best piece of equipment we can. Less than ideal? You bet. Each placement is taking twice the time. But we must adjust. Some of you know our physical therapist, Michael J. Workman. He is still visiting hospitals and care centers when needed and this is certainly stressful. We rely on his expertise to stay safe. We are now delivering masks and other PPE to patients with spinal cord injuries and elderly citizens who cannot leave their homes for sanitary supplies. No one knows what the next twelve months will bring. Ability Found has been serving Utah since 1993. Undoubtedly, we strive to weather this storm and keep our little nonprofit in the business of improving lives. Please, be safe. Stay healthy.
