At Ability Found we routinely receive requests from people who would like to donate used medical and rehabilitation equipment to help our cause. Although we appreciate these donations, the recycled equipment is often not exactly what our clients need. If we factor in shipping, storage and the labor necessary to refurbish the equipment, then in most cases it is more cost effective for us and beneficial to our clients to purchase new equipment.

An easy way to help those in need with your used medical and rehabilitation equipment is to sell it on Ebay and have the proceeds automatically donated to Ability Found. Ability Found is a registered Ebay charity and your donation is tax deductible just like if you donated the equipment directly.

WHAT IS EXCITING, however is that you are not just limited to sell of medical ortherapy equipment. Through Ebay you have an easy, fun, and potentiallyprofitable way to sell anything you own and can donate all or part of theproceeds to Ability Found. HOW EXCITING IS THAT! Help disabledpeople get the equipment they desperatly need and at the same time, ifyou choose, earn money doing it.

All you need to open an Ebay sellers account is a computer with an internet connection, a credit card, an email account, and a digital or cell phone camera.

Almost anything you can imagine sells on Ebay and usually for a much better price than you can get at a garage sale. Millions of average people make a sizable portion of their income by selling on the internet. Best of all you can raise money to help rescue disabled people and change their lives.

It is easy to open up an Ebay account, just go this linkhttp://www.ebay.com/, and click the large red Register button. When you sell your item be sure you choose the option "Customize your Listing". Below the 5th yellow heading bar you will see "eBay Giving Works", click "Or, select another nonprofit you love", then you see a "Select a nonprofit" page. In the search area, under "State" type UT, then click the "Search" button and Ability Found should come up on top of the list. Click "Select" and you will put Ability Found on the perferred charity list back on the "Choose how you'd like to sell you item". Make sure that Ability Found is checked and enter the percentage of the selling amount you want to donate to Ability Found in the "Donation percentage" box. It is that simple.
